Treloar Trust

Content Management Systems

A small project to help Treloar’s understand how to make their site more usable and user friendly grew into several projects completed over 2009.  These included refreshing the design and completely rebuilding the main Treloar’s site, the design & build of a microsite to help promote their expertise & services in assistive technology, Treloar’s Direct, and also a rich HTML email template for them to use to promote their fundraising activites.

The design refresh was completed to make the navigation of the site much easer than the previous version, and to make the visual style of the content more consistent site-wide.

Both the main site and the microsite were built on the SilverStripe PHP based CMS, which allowed for a lot of configuration and fulfilled the requirements of Treloar’s, including making it easy for the admin staff to update content with ease.

The email template was built to be easy for the Treloar’s team to send out rich HTML emails to possible fundraising sources from their Outlook email.
