E-Commerce
Whilst employed as Head of User Experience at Snowvalley, I was fortunate enough to lead the e-commerce site redesign of a well known high street motoring brand; Halfords. I worked with a team of people (from Snowvalley, Halfords, and another agency) through a user focused design process, that specifically concentrated on improving the user experience for the visitors to the site, based on earlier usability studies, and best practice in e-commerce.
The process involved preparing and implementing personae, revising the site Information Architecture, creating wire-frames to guide the visual layer, and helping guide the visual design to its completion. The completed design was then implemented by another external agency.
