Old Tin Roof is a small interactive design and development studio run by myself, Les Cochrane, based in the North West of England.
I have over 10 years design and development experience, and most recently worked for two years as the Interactive Design Director for Addison Corporate Marketing, Europes' leading corporate communications consultancy. My project experience includes clients as varied as Vodafone, the FA, Unilever, Heineken, Halfords, Toys R Us, and Bournemouth Council to name but a few.
If you'd like to know more, then drop me a line and we can have a chat.
The work that I produce is based on a simple philosophy that websites should be easy to use, look good, and be accessible to all, and still meet your business goals.
Keeping the visitors to your site happy, engaged, and satisfied is not easy, but should be the number one priority when considering an interactive project.
I have a wide range of experience of internet technology, but consider the core of my expertise to be centered around the user experience, including:
Making sure you achieve your goals for your online presence. Projects range from a simple few page static website, through to a large content management system based publishing platform.
Interface design, user interface development, accessibility reviews, usability testing, and assisting in minor development in Ruby on Rails, PHP and various other server-side technology.
Helping you define a visual structure that reflects your strategy and message.
Advice for online strategy, assistance with design and development methodology, and basic training in standards based user interface development.
Old Tin Roof is small. Which means that I can be extremely flexible working within your requirements.
I don't take on more than I can comfortably cope with, which means you always have my undivided attention.
As my overheads are minimal, I take pleasure in adding value without having costs as high as a large agency.
